Gorat's Steak House at 4917 Center Street in Omaha, founded in 1944 by Louis and Nettie Gorat, is famous as Warren Buffett's favorite steakhouse, known for its T-bone. Current owner Gene Dunn renovated it in 1950s style in 2012. It also serves pasta, seafood and chicken. Closed Mondays.
