Accounts

Vendor accounts are created when you submit your first promo. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything posted from your account.

Promos

Each promo books a single daily price slot in a single college town for up to seven consecutive days. Slots are ranked by daily bid. Promos are free through January 1, 2027; after that, bookings are charged at your chosen daily bid.

Promo day

For any promo, a "day" runs from 4:00 AM to 4:00 AM the following calendar day based on the local time zone of the address on the promo (not the site visitor's time zone). This means late-night and last-call promos stay live through the night and do not cut off at midnight.

Content standards

You may only post promos for a business or event you are authorized to represent. No illegal, deceptive, hateful, adult, or spam content. First-time promos are reviewed before going live, and we may edit, reject, or remove any promo that breaks these rules.

Right to reject or cancel promos

We reserve the right to reject, cancel, or remove any promo, booking, or account at our discretion and for any reason. The spirit of collegetowns.live is to help local businesses, bars, restaurants, shops, venues, and campus happenings reach college-town customers. We are not here to be overrun by large national advertisers or chains that want to outspend local vendors for the top slots. We may reject promos that we feel do not reflect that local focus, even if they do not violate a specific policy rule.

Refunds and cancellations

Paid bookings that we remove for policy reasons may be refunded at our discretion. Dates cannot be changed after purchase, but you may update your promo content and contact info during the booking window.

Photo retention

Photos submitted with a promo are automatically deleted from our storage and database 30 days after that promo's run ends. Keep your own copy of any image you want to reuse, and upload it again with a new promo.

Liability

The site is provided as-is. We are not responsible for the accuracy of vendor-submitted content or for anything that happens at a listed business or event.
