The Gershwin Theatre at 222 W 51st Street, on the second floor of the Paramount Plaza building, is a 1,933-seat Broadway house that opened in 1972 as the Uris Theatre and was renamed for George Gershwin in 1983. Wicked has played here since October 2003.
